What are electrolytes?
Electrolytes are tiny particles that carry electrical charges. They help the body maintain proper function. When you sweat, nuuns electrolyte blend plays a key role in maintaining water balance at a cellular level.

sodium (300mg) aids fluid balance/retention, nerve function & muscle contractions

there are 2 updates to the electrolyte profile for nuun sport:
1. Addition of chloride: our electrolyte blend now features all 5 electrolytes. Chloride plays a key role in fluid transport and electrolyte balance.
2. Re-optimised amounts of sodium and potassium: research has shown that an approximate sodium/potassium ratio of 2:1 is ideal for h20 absorption. The updated formula features a bit less sodium, and a bit more potassium to reach this ratio.
