Making A Purchase Placing an order with Spokes Cycles

You can order products from us in the following ways:

In person in store. We have a wonderful showroom where you can touch, feel, try on and demo the stock as you request. Always worth a visit

Please make sure that you include a contact phone number with your order.

When you place an order using any of the methods described above you are offering to buy products at the stated price, subject to these terms. Prices may be subject to changes.Web based prices are given on the assumption that no variation in the price will be made by the manufacturer/sole importer and that Government levies remain unaltered.We will inform you of any price increases as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the new price or cancelling it

When you place your order online we will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received it. This e-mail is generated automatically so that you have a confirmation of your order details. The fact that you receive an automatic confirmation does not necessarily mean that we will be able to meet your order.

You will receive a 2nd email from us once your order has been dispatched. This email will contain your receipt. If your order can not be fulfilled for any reason then we will contact you.

Spokescycles Ltd may cancel any sale and not supply products if it is reasonable to do so and may change or discontinue the availability of products at any time at its sole discretion.

If an order is cancelled by Spokes Cycles, any payment made for the products will be refunded in full.

Tax Charges For orders made from the UK, the current VAT rate will be applied.

This does not affect your Statutory Rights.
Credit Card Security and Payment
By credit or debit card online by a secure payment gateway - we never see or store your details.

We can do credit accounts if required - but require a valid Purchase Order to do so.

Special Order Items:
Delivery times vary for goods that are 'Special Order'. Although a rough delivery time is written on the listing of any item that is 'Special Order' these may not be accurate and change throughout the year and during peak season due to demand. We are not obligated to meet these delivery times for Special Order Items. Please call before ordering a special order item to get more accurate delivery times. If an item is ordered as 'Special Order' we will endeavour to get it to you as quickly as possible and keep you updated with progress using the contact details you provide at the checkout.
Receiving Items & Damaged Items:
Every care has been taken to prevent any damage happening during transit. However, accidents still happen however rare they are. If you notice that an item is damaged when you recieve it, you must sign for it as damaged & report it to us immediately. Accidents and losses must be reported to us within two working days of receipt. Please quote your order number in all correspondence. Go Kayaking can not be held responsibile for damage that has occured during transit & by signing for it as damaged we will be able to arrange a replacement as soon as possible. By not signing for it as damaged then you are agreeing to receive the item in acceptable condition and we can not offer a replacement. If you are unsure whether an item is damaged, then sign for it as damaged anyway - just in case. If you refuse a delivery because you suspect it might be damaged then we may still charge the initial shipping cost.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
Delivery Failures:
If a package is returned to us because the delivery has failed then you will be re-charged the listed postage cost to have it delivered again. If for whatever reason you refuse goods on delivery and request them to be returned to us then you may still be charged the initial shipping cost unless we sent them to you in error. If you refuse a delivery because it is damaged then you may still be charged for delivery.
Returns:
We want you to be completley satisfied in every aspect with your products purchased from us and our service. We are confident that our experience as paddlers will help advise you of the right product first time, but if it is wrong then you are welcome to return it for replacement or refund.

Make sure you send a note with the return instructing us what you'd like us to do. Either replacement or refund

This is subject to the following conditions:

You must notify us within 14 working days by post, email or telephone of your intention to do this.
The product must be unused, with their original tags.
Non stock items that are specifically ordered in will be subject to a 25% restocking fee
We reserve the right to refuse a return or to require further proof of identity
You are responsible for any return postage unless the item was sent to you incorrectly
We can not refund the original shipping cost to you

Warranty:
If you think your product might be defective and wish to claim a warranty then please notify us by email with detailed pictures of the defect & your receipt as well as a detailed description of the defect. Usually manufactureres will require the product back for inspection. In which case it is the customers responsibility (including cost) to get the item back to us, or the manufacturer. Refunds for postage can not be given, regardless of whether the warranty is successful or not.

You wll be charged shipping to send goods back to you, regardless of whether the warranty was successful.

Replacement item, or warranty items can be collected or dropped off in store free of charge.

Most manufacturers will first look at if a feasible repair can be done to the item before decided whether to replace. The manufactureres decision is final.

If the manufacturer decides to repair the product for a cost that cost will be passed onto the customer. We will endeavour to ensure that you are informed of the cost before any work is done, or we will quote you before sending the item off.

We always try to get a warranty turned around within 2 weeks but this varies dependant on supplier.
