Made of lightweight foam, it reinforces the tyre structure without adding significant weight, maintaining the speed and agility needed between the tapes. This insert delivers an amazing ride feel while offering critical impact protection and lateral stability, providing the confidence to run the perfect air pressure.
The Air-Liner's lightweight construction and run-flat capability preserve the benefits for TLR that are normally reserved for traditional tubular tyres. Coupled with the ease of mounting and unmounting of tubeless, Vittoria TLR cyclocross tyre systems offer rank and file riders a near-professional traction experience. It stabilises the sidewalls, eliminating burping and keeping the tyre in place during aggressive turns, sloped sections, and barrier jumps. It also works as impact protection, reducing the risk of rim strikes and pinch flats when using optimal low pressures.
Each Air-Liner Cyclocross comes with a 60mm Vittoria Multiway Tubeless Valve for maximum airflow and perfect tubeless installation. In the event of a flat, its run-flat capability allows you to keep riding without having to shoulder the bike. The material is compatible only with ammonia-free sealants and must be used exclusively in combination with tubeless tyres and multiway tubeless valves.
